How I got here

From Veterinary Assistant to Business Owner

I started my career as a veterinary assistant when I finished school, I gained valuable administrative skills that laid the foundation for my future careers. After 5 years in the field I felt the mental load of caring for sick animals and with hit with burnout.

I made the decision to transition into a roll as an optometric assistant and eventually spend 5 years as a retail manager for a local paint store that I loved dearly. This was a true passion for me but due to unforeseen circumstances I ended up leaving.

I encountered unique challenges in each role, yet a recurring theme emerged: employee frustration stemming from a lack of organization within the companies


My shift to Online

When workplace burnout hit me HARD, I began researching what a virtual assistant was and I was drawn in to this new roll. Once I decided to leave my retail management job with the support of my husband, I started Lens & Lifts VA. My passion for organization, workflows and SOP has flourished and I knew I had found my calling and what I was meant to do: help others thrive!

  • Customized support start at 5 hours a week, includes email management, client communication, calendar management and social media monitoring.

  • Beginning with a basic package I will provide a task audit and prioritization, workflow set up on Notion or Trello and provide 2 task SOP templates. Additional services and add-ons can be view on the main page.

  • Setup and training for AI tools like ChatGPT (for writing or client communication), Zapier (for task automation), or scheduling tools.
